From 8am to 5:30pm GGM and Barbara played almost non-stop with me. They were on their feet a lot more than they normally are. Barbara said later in the evening she could barely move and she hopes that by morning she has recovered.
We played lots and lots and lots of Dodge Ball in the Big TV room, so we have plenty of room to run. We have three medium sized rubber balls, purple, green, and pink. (My red and blue balls bit the dust after hitting thorny rose bushes in the back yard.) GGM threw the balls at me and Barbara was the ball retriever most of the time. I must have been hit 500 or 600 hundred times today and every time I would fall to the ground like I was injured or maybe like I had been tackled playing football. I could play that game sunup to sundown.
We played lots and lots and lots of Cars also. We play with my 21 Hot Wheel cars on the pool table. I could play that game all day long too.
It was a nice day outside, so when I heard Mr. Brad outside mowing, I hurried outside to help. I must stay on my side of the street until he turns off the mower, then I run over (after looking both ways on the street for cars) to help him empty the bag. Then I count down for him to restart the mower and I run back home. Barbara won't let me be in the same yard as "running engines." She says there is no reason to risk my getting injured by flying objects. I never did understand why Luke got to stay in Mr. Brad's yard while the mower was on, but Barbara was adamant about that rule. I wore the gloves Mr. Brad keeps at his house just for me.
I also helped GGF rake leaves in our yard. He rakes, blows, or sweeps outside almost every day.
I watched TV two times but not even a full show before I insisted that we play again. I would not sit down to read, play with Play Dough, draw, cut or paste. I wanted "action" play today. The last thing I said to Barbara, when I walked out the door with Mommy, was that this had been a very fun day. At the end of the day our play had worn out GGM and Barbara. I think they are thankful that some days I go to school half of the day.
