I had to wear my heavy coat on the trip to Barbara's home because it was 34 degrees outside.  Brrrrrrr.  I told Barbara there would be no Time Outs today because I was going to be nice all day.  She said that would make her happy.

I wanted to play first, but instead I ate breakfast, brushed my teeth, THEN GGM played Cars with me.  We added a Toys R Us store to the pool table.  People were going there to buy presents for Christmas which is in two days.
While GGM saw the eye doctor I played in the kid's toy room.

I got a sack of chips and a granola bar to snack on while I was there.  GGF was with us.  We went to Wal-Mart and Kroger for a few things.  While GGM and GGF returned some jeans, Barbara and I went to the bakery.  I said, "Gracias."  The lady said, "De nada." and she gave me a big smile.  I said Merry Christmas to several people in the store and if they heard me they said it back to me.  I had a cookie at Kroger's also.

I like wearing my jeans that are threadbare on the knees. GGF says times sure have changed.  When he was a kid, they might have had holes in their clothes but it was not because they wanted them.  His mom kept their clothes patched so the next kid could wear them.  They darned socks instead of going to the store to buy a new six-pack.  GGF and GGM both still darn their socks when they see them getting thin.

As soon as we got home, we washed our hands, put away groceries, and started playing Cars.  I showed Barbara our Toys R Us.  Barbara made us a new bridge.  We just keep on coming up with new things in our Cars play.

GGM and I played four games of Old Maid and three games of Go Fish.  Barbara was my helper showing my what to do.  We played Marbleworks, Dodge Ball, and Football.
I was helping GGF clean up pine needles from the driveway ....
when ProLawn arrived.
I got to stay out in the street with GGF but only after I promised Barbara I would stay right next to GGF and would stay away from the mowers.  That was the first time I have been outside when ProLawn was here.  Barbara thinks it will be the last time also.
Bridget got her right before 5pm, so she was here when it was time to bring in the flag.  I showed her how we do it and where we store it in the garage.

An interesting thing: Bridget's iPhone screen broke, so she was going to try replacing it.  She took out about 20 tiny tiny screws before she striped one of them and she couldn't get it out.  (In the end she got an upgrade and replaced the entire phone.)
This is what the inside of an iPhone looks like...
...and that tiny thing is the camera!  That is her new phone beside it.

Barbara and I bundled up and played outside while we waited from Daddy to come pick me up
For some reason, I like falling down during our playing.  But....
laying on the sweet gum tree balls is not real comfortable!  The ones that just fell recently are pretty sharp.

I am so ready for Christmas.  I know I only have to sleep one more night before Santa Claus comes the next night.  I also know Baby Jesus was born on Wednesday and we will celebrate his birthday.

I was true to my word.  I was super good ALL day.
