Happy Birthday, PaPa. I hope your friends in Nigeria know it is your birthday and they make it a special day for you.
Of course, the first thing I do is look for Joe, my Elf on the Shelf, at Mimz' home. And I found him sitting in the same place he was last night! I guess he liked that spot. Later I noticed he had moved. I guess he realized he was supposed to land in a new spot after going to see Santa Claus and telling him if I was naughty or nice. Mimz was surprised when I showed her.
We were going to the donut shop, but we had another surprise. The car would not start. Mimz called her car repair guy who came quickly and gave her a jump. While we waited, I rode my scooter down the street. Skyler's dad was outside and we talked to him. His name is Jake and he is a fireman. I was only about ten minutes late for school.
Mimz and I stopped at the Dollar Store when she was taking me to Barbara. Because I had been so very good for Mimz she got me a little motorcycle. I added it to my pool table Cars game. Now I have two police motorcycles for us to play with.
This morning, GGF burned some paper in your chimnea.
He enjoyed this activity.
I don't know why they did this while I was not there to help. Maybe because there was fire involved???
GGM brought us a snack of apple and green cabbage. I gobbled down the apple, but would not even try the cabbage. I do love cooked cabbage.
As you can probably guess, GGM, Barbara, and I played our regular Cars, Dodge Ball, and football. It was a beautiful day outside, 70 degrees, and I spent at least an hour outside with GGF.
We inspected the yard for ant hills.
GGF and I dug a little in the flowerbed, then we shared a snack.
We have a rain gauge...
...and I got to empty it.
The waterfall had leaves in it and ....
got to take a turn using a net getting them out.
I got my shirt wet and took it off. I loved going shirtless.
For a while after we came inside, I still remained shirtless. In this picture I am taking a car thru the car wash.
This Merry Christmas sign is our car wash. We do use our imagination.
While it was dark, we noticed a pickup truck parked by the fire hydrant across the street. Water was gushing out of it. GGF and I went to investigate. Someone had reported discolored water, so they were flushing out the system. GGF talked to the man for over 30 minutes.
GGM, Barbara and I went for a walk and looked at the Christmas lights on many of the homes near by. At one house I counted all the lights on the ground. I counted to 40 with no help and almost no mistakes.
Mommy's office is moving to the Woodlands tomorrow. Everyone was staying late to pack. Since it would have been about 8:30 before Mommy could get me and since she had to be back at work around 6:30am, I spent the night with Barbara. I was asleep by 9pm. It was a good day, no Time-Outs and only a couple minutes of pouting.
