Welcome Home, PaPa.  Grandma picked him up at the airport this morning.  I can't wait to see him.

Mimz and I had a very busy fun day.  I went to school happily.
I do love to climb trees!
Here I am at the top of a tree.

After school we played in the house for awhile and then I talked Mimz into going to the park only this time I really wanted to ride our bikes to the park. I have wanted to do this for a very long time. Mimz looked at the map and plotted a course with very little traffic during the day. It was a longer route but better for bike riders.  I followed every one of the rules and refused to say I was tired when Mimz asked me. We did stop twice for a water break. The park was pretty empty and it was starting to mist a little so we started back home after a short rest.  Mimz plotted a shorter route home still using less traveled streets. The route home was much shorter and we made good time. By the time we got home we were both ready for a little snack and rest time.  I ate two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and drank water.  The exercise really made me hungry.

Mimz had a meeting to go so Daddy picked me up after his workout.
Daddy snapped this picture of me coloring a maze in a coloring book.  I do enjoy coloring!  Daddy took me back to Mimz after her meeting.  As soon as I was showered and in my PJ's, we went straight to bed.  Mimz laid down with me for a few minutes in my bed and I was out like a light.  Mimz went to sleep early too.  Her legs were a little tired from all that bike riding.

She is so glad I enjoy doing active things. Now I want to go hiking on some of the nature trails in the park so we have stared a list. I.   It was a very good day.

A funny thing:  Aunt Kristan told Barbara it was a frantic morning for her, Andy, and Anna Kate.  When Barbara removed the blanket from Anna Kate's car seat, she found the baby dressed in nice warm flannel pajamas but no socks on her feet!  We had to laugh.  Anna Kate always has on socks but not on the frantic morning!

Mommy made my Valentine cards that I will give with a treat to my friends at our Valentine's Day party.
