***My blog for this past week, may not get written. Since Barbara's computer was not on-line and we have been so busy with this water damage problem, we had a few things with higher priority than my blog. (not much is more important to Barbara but house damage must be) *****
Happy Valentines Day! I could have gone over to Barbara's to see what she had for me for Valentines Day, but I chose to stay home and play with Carson.
I spent the night at Daddy's and he brought me over to Mommy's home to get me dressed for my first soccer game of the season. I think if they had kept score my team would have lost, but we did pretty well considering we had only had one practice.
My team consists of four girls and four boys. Two of the
girls are little firecrackers. I think I played the best. My coach had
me throw in most of the balls and do most of the start kicks. I ran
the fastest and a couple of times I saved the other team from getting
the ball in their goal.
I scored three points.
Daddy gave me some advise. I don't know our team name yet. I think this team is as good now as my last years team was when we played our last game. I had a bunch of fans at my soccer game: Daddy, Mommy, GGM, Barbara, PaPa, and Grandma. Mimz would have been there but she was on another hike with her hiking club.
They walked 8.5 miles in 4 hours. Mimz said she was a bit tired but was happy to know she could walk that far.
This is a picture of Mimz and one of her teacher friends who has joined the club.
*********Update on the Tomball House**********
GGM, GGF, and Barbara left the lake around 7:30am to head back to their house. They were told last night that the house was dry and they could move back home. The 15 fans and two dehumidifiers were still humming and it was pretty loud in their house. They emptied the car and put things away before GGM and Barbara left to come to my soccer game.
Dry Force came back and spent over two hours retrieving their equipment. They did leave two fans and one dehumidifier going to do more drying.
