Barbara thought she would take me to Splash Town for a couple of hours, but I decided I would rather go swim at Andy's so we could play with AK. When we called Kristan said sure come on over to swim, but she and AK had some errands to run. We offered to babysit so we could play with AK, and Kristan could run her errands much easier not having a toddler in tow.
While we waited for time to go babysit, I made a card for Anthony and Alyssa because they are going to Jamaca for five weeks to visit relatives. I traced over the letters, then I added stickers to decorate it. I took it to Mr. Mark, because the kids were not expected home until 5pm and I would be over at Mimz' home by then.
I was a big help today while we babysat Anna Kate. She followed me around and wanted to do anything I did. We played with all the toys in her toy room. Some of them were mine when I was a toddler. AK has a new potty chair. She sits on it, but she doesn't "use" it yet. We ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, strawberries, goldfish crackers, and bananas rounds with peanut butter on them. She would eat anything I ate. A funny thing: I was watching Fireman Sam on the iPad, so AK walked out of the toy room, climbed onto the living room sofa where her iPad was and turned on Calliou (remember him? I watched him when I was a little kid.) Barbara followed her and sat in a chair so she could see her and see me. She thought that is a sign of the times. Kids watching iPad instead of TV.
I earned three stickers today. One for being so good with AK all day. And two stickers because of my attitude when Barbara asked me to help her with two chores, I did it happily and immdeidately. I have earned 20 stickers. I need 80 more to a special reward. It's funny: when I have done something nice, I look at Barbara to see if she noticed. I am not to say, "do I earn a sticker for that?" The way I earn a sticker is to follow the Scout Law: trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, coursteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
Mr. Mark wanted me to see the kids before I left, so he went to get them from camp early. They liked the card I made for them and I know they will have a great vacation, but they will be glad to get back home to their parents and me!
We met Mimz at Sprouts at 4pm. Knox came over to play. We dressed in our fireman outfits. Mine was so short on me and it was really funmy. We didn't slow down long enough for Mimz to take our picture.
I spent the evening with Daddy while Mimz went out to eat with friends. Daddy had me in the bathtub, when Mimz came home. I spent the night with Mimz because Daddy has to go to work early tomorrow. I was asleep before 10pm.
