I had been waiting for this day.... my pogo stick is supposed to be delivered today.  I just can't wait another day.

I woke up after eleven hours of sleep.  I woke up rechared and in a happy mood probably thinking one thought: Today my pogo stick arrives.

Mimz and I went to my second session of Iron Sports from noon to 1:30pm.  There were about 14 children in my age group today.  On  Monday there were only 7 in my age group.   I had another fun time and I got to try to blue warped wall.  I could touch the ring at the top but could grap ahold.

At 2pm Mimz brought me to Barbara's where I hope I would find my pogo stick.  I was a bit disappointed that it was not there but there were still several hours left before I would leave for my last baseball games.   I kept checking to see if a box might have been left without the doorbell being rung.  Barbara babysat AK this morning, so she wanted a little nap.  I sat on her bed playing with the iPad while she napped.
The doorbell rang at 4:50pm and I was down the stairs before Barbara could look out the window to see if there was a UPS truck outside.  It was UPS with a long box for me!  GGF helped me open the box and Barbara and I headed outside ( where the temperature was 97 degrees with heat index that felt like 102 degrees!) so I could try out my pogo stick.  The first couple of times I jumped once and fell off.  Then I did two jumps before falling off.  Barbara held the stick and I managed to get as much as 6 jumps before falling.  I had to quit after just a few minutes for two reasons.  One it was just too hot with no breeze.  Two I had to get dressed for my baseball game.  We had to leave at 5:20pm.

My fans at the games were: GGF, Barbara, Mommy, Daddy, and Mimz.  Mommy ran the dug out and Daddy helped coach on the field.
I was the MVP tonight (in Barbara's opinion).   The first inning I played first base and I made all three outs.  One of them I made by chasing down the runner and tagging him.    My first three at bats were all doubles.  I hit the ball to the fence each time.
I had one more double and one single and no strike outs.

During the day I told Barbara three times I wanted to catch a pop fly.  Well, guess what?  I caught a pop fly!  My running was great.  My throws were great.  I just did an outstanding job and that is why I was the MVP.  These were my last games of the season.  Next year we will keep score and it will be coach pitch instead of t-ball.
My team and the coaches.

After the game, Barbara, GGF, and I went over to Anna Kate's so Andy could install her car seat in Barbara's car.  She is babysitting tomorrow and three other days before August 15th so it is time to get ready for our having Anna Kate often.
First thing I did when we got home was practice on my pogo stick.  I need lots of  practice.  I ate strawberry shortcake.  GGM had made the cake and recently she and Barbara had cleaned and frozen 30 pounds of strawberries.

I went inside to tell GGM about my game.  Afterwards we talked about what was on TV,: Donald Trump and the Republican Convention.  We have our fingers crossed that Trump wins the presidency.  He was not Barbara or my great grandparent's first choice, but Hillary has been their last choice for 30 years.  They didn't think much of the Clinton's when Bill was govenor of Arkansas (where they lived at the time) and their opinion has not improved over the years.

Mommy and Grandma got home at 10:30pm.  I was not asleep so I got up and went down to show them my pogo stick.  Again with help I could jump about five times.
