This was one of the busiest days of my life.  It started with a wake up time of 6:30am.  We had to set up for our garage sale.  Mommy and I went to put out signs.  We moved our five tables onto the driveway leaving only two tables in the garage.  I helped sort through the shoes, which are the very best sellers.  Barbara didn't feel very good, so she forgot to take pictures of the entire scene.
I was up early and you could tell I didn't get enough sleep.  We had customers starting at 7:15am before the sun was up and it didn't stop until close to noon.  We made almost $400.
We have been given the times for my last soccer games.

Mimz came to get me to take me to my soccer game which starts at 10:30pm.  My only fans at soccer were Daddy, Mimz, and Papa.  Everybody else was helping with the garage sale.   They missed a great game.  I think it was our first win.  6 - 1 and I scored three of our goals.  I played my very best.  I accidentally kicked the ball and it hit a boy in the face.  Sorry about that, it was an accident.
Football practice and game schedule.Next on the docket was my first flag football practice and game.  Mommy took me to the practice at 1:30pm and Mimz came to the game at 2:30pm.  We learned how to make a pocket for the quarterback to jam the ball into our arms if it was a running play.  I played center.  Since there is not blocking or tackling I would run out for a pass.  The ball never came my way, but I was ready.  I did manage to grab a couple of flags from opponents who had the ball.  Oh, what fun.

With no time to waste, Mimz and I headed to Austin in her car, and Mommy and Daddy drove in another car to attend the U of Texas - Iowa State football game.  Mimz and I are going to spend the night in a hotel and enjoy touring a little of Austin on Sunday.  Mommy and Daddy would drive back home.
Mimz has friends who have season ticketes and coudn't use them, so they gave them to Mimz and they came with a pass to park up close to the stadium.  We will really have to thank those friends for letting us have this great great time.  My first college football game!  Mimz had to go to several stores before she found a shirt for me to wear to the game.
And she bought me some long UT socks which are my favorite thing now.

I slept the entire three hour drive to Austin.   We drove to an HEB parkng lot to meet up with my parents.   We all went in one car to use the parking pass.
We walked through the grounds of the LBJ library walking to the stadium.  This is the shirt Mimz bought for me.
I was one happy boy!  We had very good seats Mimz and I sat in front of Mommy and Daddy.  I enjoyed everything.  I paid attention to the game and when the Jumbotran said "Make noise," I holler with everybody.

I also enjoyed the bands halftime performance and was impressed with the formations they made.   I didn't want to leave until the game was over, but we left with 6 minutes left of the clock.   We could tell Texas was going to win and Daddy had a long drive ahead of him and we wanted to beat the crowd.  Leaving when we did, we had the easiest exit from the large venue that Mimz had every had.

Mimz and I used the hotel reservation her friends had so we had no trouble with getting a room.

See why I said this was the busiest day of my life?  ---  garage sale, soccer game, football practice and game, three hour drive to Austin, my first colligent football game and spending night in a motel.  I was one happy lucky boy!
Andy and Kristan took Anna Kate to her first pumpkin patch.  They had a great time, but it was on so hot!
