I took my Halloween gift to Mrs. Cat today. It was a small jar of caramel dip and a green apple. She loved it.
This morning was the awards ceremony for the first eight weeks of school. My family didn't know about it. We don't think any paper came home telling us about it. I got a perfect attendance award, and I was not tardy either.
After Mommy got off work she and I went to visit GGF in the hospital. He had a heart cath done this morning. Dr. Shahzo knew he had a heart murmer and found a 99 percent blockage in one of his arteries. The doctor put in a stent. After the proceedure was over the doctor showed Barbara a picture on his phone of the blocked artery before and after.
GGF had no pain at all during his recovery. Except for some confusion during the night and his wanting to take off the testing leads on his chest and taking out his IV tubes he did great. He was up before 7am on Oct 26th, dressed and ready to get home. But alas, that did not happen early like it was supposed to. It was 3pm before they were released and 3:40pm before they got home. Barbara stayed with him the entire time. Grandma drove with them to the hospital to make sure they found there way in the dark with no problem because they had to be there at 7:30am on Oct. 25th.
FYI: GGF was walking better the next day. He was having less shortness of breath, so we think the stent was a good thing.
