I was thinking I was a little scared when I woke up .... this afternoon Mimz was taking me to the dentist to see what they say about my upper baby tooth that refuses to fall out.  My adults are hoping the dentist pulls it out and that is what I find scary.  I'm told it won't hurt, but I can't help but be anxious.

The good thing is I get early dismissal and that is always fun.  I took a note to the front office when I got off the bus and they put a large sticker on the front of my shirt telling Mrs. Cat what time I am to leave for the front office where Mimz will be waiting for me.

This is a busy day for everyone:  Mimz and I are going to dentist.  Grandma is taking Great Grandma to see her eye specialist.  Mommy has a dentist appointment.  Barbara and GGF have Anna Kate to take care of.  Andy and Kristan went to an appointment to check on their new baby.  They found out both baby and Mommy were doing well.  Kristan's tummy has grown a lot this past month.

Today was Metzler Spirit Day at Papa Murphy's so Barbara went there to order a pizza and get me a spirit stick... well she got the pizza but the school is not supplying spirit sticks.  Bummer!

My appointment was at 1:30pm, but at 1:26pm Mimz was sending text saying this:  "Tooth has been pulled and he did great!!!"   (Barbara told Mimz I will get two stickers for doing so well.  Remember I'm trying to earm 100 stickers to get to do something great!  Barbara won't tell me what it is but I am positive it is going to I Fly Houston.)

I did have some numbing medicine, then a shot.  Mimz talked to me all through the needle part and I did great.

The dentist tried to pull it with his finger but couldn't get it to budge.

So he got it out with a tool.

 I held a blue mirror to watch while the dentist used a little pair of pliers to pull it.  He had to use more force than we thought he would.  In this picture the dentist is holding up the tooth for me to see it.  That little tooth just didn't want to let go and leave my mouth.  We don't need to come back for a follow-up appointment.

The dentist said with the baby tooth out of the way, the permanent tooth should come down okay. 
Then he said, if not, it may need some help.  We assume that means some kind of braces.

Dentist bill.

It did bleed more than we expected it too.  The dentist said ice cream would cure that, so Mimz took me to Dairy Queen.  It didn't take long for the numbing to wear off and I could feel my mouth again. 

Soccer practice was canceled because of rain.  It didn't take long for me to recover.  Soon after we got to Mimz' home, I was hanging from a tree like a monkey.

I put my tooth holder under my pillow in hopes that the Tooth Fairy would come visit me tonight.
