All of my gang rode the bus.

We had a substitute teacher who mostly speaks Spanish so only one boy in the class understood most of what she said.

I did play after school with my friends until Mommy got home.  Then I had to finish my homework... writing four sentences using my four wall words.

Barbara took me to my den meeting.  Mommy has things to do so she can leave tomorrow with Grandma to spend the weekend with Bridget and Kristan looking for a wedding dress.

At the meeting we played a fun game with pink and red balloons and paper plates.  My team won all three games.  I'm pretty competitive so I really try to win.  The bad thing about that is I get easily discouraged if I'm not good at something.  I'm told practice will make me better, so it's a battle to decide between trying again and quiting.

Some boys wored on make up projects while the rest of us played a game about team work.   The assistant leader made a large circle on the floor with a rope and we jumped into the circle.  He started making the roop shorter and shorter and we were suppose to work together to figure out how small the circle could get with us staying inside the circle.   We were not very successful because we are too rowdie but we had fun.
We practiced the Cub Scout Oath and Laws
Mrs. Mary, the den leader had to talk to us several times about listening and being curtious while she talked to the parents about den business.  Our snack was popcorn and grapes.   After we ate and cleaned up we each got a balloon to take home.  I played with mine in the car and all the way up to my room.

I was in bed by 8:15pm with Barbara's phone.  At 8:30pm I had to give it to Barbara so she could make a phone call.  A funny thing, well odd thing:  A couple of night ago Barbara was talking to her friend Cindy.  I went back into her room an hour later and she was STILL on the phone with Cindy.  Who talks on the phone for an hour???  When they hung up, I checked and they had talked for an hour and ten minutes.  Barbara said they talk maybe twice a year and they had a lot of catching up to do.  Well, the funny thing is:  tonight at 8:30pm Barbara called Cindy,  I found out this morning that they talked for TWO hours!  Barbara explaination was the first night Barbara did all the talking and tonight was Cindy's turn.  They both know all of the other's family members so they have a lot of stories to share.   It is true that most of Barbara's phone calls last only a minute or two.

I was asleep at 8:40pm.
