January 14, 2017  Saturday

Soon after I woke up, I my nose started running probably caused by allergies I took another chewable Claritin pill.  That does help.  Barbara and I talked about the plans for today.  It was a busy day for my family.

Mommy, Grandma, Kristan, and Bridget all shopped for a wedding dress and they found one.  My dad completed his move to a new house.  The Texans played the Patriots in the Playoffs and they lost.  I attended two fun birthday parties.

I ate four pieces or raisin toast.  I said no to sausage, but as I often do, I ate Barbara's sausage.   That is okay with her.  GGM cooks several pounds of patties and freezes them, so a quick zap in the microwave and they are ready to eat.

I tried to find a neighbor child to play with but they were all sleeping.  Sleeping is over-rated.  I got Barbara to bat balloons around and I finished the drawing I have been working on.  Yesterday Anthony drew a picture of a storm.  Alyssa and I both liked it so we drew the same picture with a few of our own ideas added.  I was able to make it look like the wind was really blowing hard.  I gave the picture to Mimz to she can put it on her refrigerator.

I did practice on my new Word Wall Words.  I can read most of the third quarter words.  I would not let Barbara read a chapter in the book she is reading to me.
Instead I took a bath using another bath balm.  This one was black and it made the water a gray color.

Grandma asked Barbara to text some pictures to her of her wedding with Papa.  I enjoyed looking at those pictures from 1979.  I could recognize everyone.

I practiced playing Bottle Flip on the iPhone.  I'm getting good at the bowling game.

Alyssa came over and we rode our bikes and played nicely in my room.  Barbara fixed us meatloaf sandwiches.  Alyssa won't eat pickles and there were tiny bits of pickle in the relish, so she didn't eat hers.  I loved it.  They we each had a small root beer float.

At 11pm I cleaned up a little and changed into my Houston Texans shirt.  Barbara and I met Mimz at Stripes.  I gave Mimz the drawing I made for her.

Mimz drove me to Pump It Up where twins Brant and Aubri's birthday party was held from 12:10 to 2:10pm.  I went to Pre-school with them.  There were a couple other children from that school there but most of the children I did not know.  I still had fun.  I gave them the game Connect 4.  They already have it, so maybe they will exchange it for a game they don't have.
I got a road rash on my back from the big slide.  I enjoyed jumping, running, and playing on everything.  We ate pizza and had cake.   It was a fun party.

Mimz brought me home to Barbara.  Of course, I wanted to go find someone to play with.  No one could play now, but Alyssa came over when she could and we worked on my great grandparents jigsaw puzzle for several minutes.  We have been using my white board a lot lately.  We both can draw better now that we did a year ago.

The second party I went to was for John John, a former neighbor and a former baseball teammate.  We will be playing soccer together starting at the end of next month.  This party was held in his yard.  Barbara thinks there were about 60 people there.  About ten children around 2 years old, who played on a bouncy house.  There were maybe 15 boys my age.  The rest of the people were adults: parents and John John's large extended family.   Barbara thinks she was the oldest person there.  She visited with John John's grandmother, two other mothers, and Kim England, who will be my new soccer coach.
My gift to John John was a Ghostbuster's shirt.  He really likes them.  He did not open his gifts.

We played in a large video truck, jumped on the trampoline, played on the swings..
and played a bean bag tossing game.  I played with whomever was nearby.

There was a large pinata that kids swung at.

I didn't get to hit at it, because the boys were trying to kill it and it broke rather quickly.  I did jump in to gather candy.
They had hot dogs and hamburgers and all the fixings to go with them.  John John had cupcakes for all of us kids.  I didn't eat anything except six manderine orange slices from Barbara's plate and some candy that I gathered when the pinata broke.

Kim England #56, is a friend from Mommy's school days.  She played soccer on a scholarship and she still plays every Friday night.  She will be able to improve our soccer skills.  I wore her son's Christening outfit when I was christened.  Brody and John John will be on the team.  U-Score is a farm league, whatever that means.   We will practice near Hooks Airport starting near the end of February.
We left the party around 6:15pm, which I was not happy about.  Some people left about the same time we did, but there were lots of people still there.  Barbara explained that most of the people still there were probably John John's extended family.  I quickly got over my unhappiness.

Barbara drove me to Mimz home, where we went into the backyard to show Barbara the trampoline Santa left for me.  It is large and I can jump to my hearts content.
Barbara got on it and laughed so hard she could hardly stand up.  She wants to come back and try again.  She always talks about "practice, practice, practice."  Mimz got on it and she can jump and make me fall down.  We even toss a football around while jumping.

I ate a turkey and cheese sandwich before Mimz and I went over to Daddy's new house.
I love the new house...
... and really like the big tree in the backyard.  It is on a cul-de-sac and there are kids for me to play with.  We watched some of the Houston game at Daddy's before going home at half-time.
I crawled into bed and was asleep in minutes.
