I slept very well on my new foam pad on my mattress.   I slept from 8:50pm to 6:45am without waking up.  We think that might be the current answer to my complaint of my mattress being too hard.

I was ready for school and outside playing Frisbee with Barbara at 7:10am.  In a bit Cole joined the fun, then Anthony, and finally Alyssa.   Barbara said she wished she had thought to take a video of us scrambling to run to and grab our backpacks and then run to the bus stop as soon as we heard the bus heading our way.  We looked like a swam of bee going every which way.

I had a page to fill out listing my favorite gum, candy, color, drink, and lollipop.  This is for the Little Buddy/ Big Buddy swim team activity.  That will help my Big Buddy know what to get me at each of our swim meets.  Just a fun little activity.   We will turn it in today at my swim practice.  The new time for swim practice is 4:30 to 5:15pm.

Mimz met bus, helped me with my homework, took me to swim practice, and home with her.
Excitement:  GGF fell in the kitchen and cut a big gash in his crown.  Barbara and GGM took him to Tomball Regional Hospital where he was quickly treated.  11 stitches, CAT scan results were normal  Left home at 2:40pm and back home at 5:20pm

At 2:40pm Barbara and GGM took GGF to the emergency room to get eleven stitches in a large cut on the crown of GGF's head.  He had spilled a cup of coffee at the breakfast table and walked to the kitchen to get something to clean up the spill.  Somehow both cut his head and fell.  We don't know which happened first.  Both GGM and Barbara heard a loud noise and came to see what it was.  They met in the living room and wondered where GGF was.  Then he said, "Avis, I fell."  They found him sitting on the kitchen floor with the oven door open.  They put paper towels on the wound, but they quickly determined that they were not going to be able to stop the bleeding.  He got up mostly on his own, with a little balancing help from GGM and Barbara.  Barbara drove them to Tomball Regional Hospital, dropped them off at the emergency room door, parked, and quickly came inside.  GGF was already being treated and blood pressure being taken.  An odd thing: They asked GGM for his name, date of birth, and the name of the street he lives on.  That was it.  Didn't ask for ID or insurance or anything.  And he had never been to that hospital so they didn't have any record of him.  A couple of hours later a lady from registration leisurely came in wanting id and insurance cards and information.
They were surprised they didn't insist on insurance before giving treatment.  I guess they looked trustworthy.     They took a CAT scan of his head, numbed his wound, put in eleven stitches, and sent them home.  They were away from almost three hours. Charges: $10,000.  GGM only had to pay $75.00

A funny thing:  When GGM had dinner ready she went looking for GGF.  She found him sweeping the driveway.   We thought he should be relaxing and pampering himself, but that's not the kind of stuff he is made of.
