This was a marathon day of play. I think we played every indoor activity we have every played except Doctor, Hurdler, Car racing, Grocery store, Camping, Reading, and maybe a couple of other things I can't think of at the moment.
Let's see: I did eat breakfast and brush my teeth. Then the games began: Cars, Play Dough, Fireman, Dodge ball, Soccer, Football, Catch, Golf, Keep Away, Hide and Seek, Break the Ice, cutting and drawing, and tracing, Puzzles, one TV show, and probably a few other things that I can't think of at the moment. We should all sleep well tonight.
I was on the phone to GGM taking her order for dinner. I was making some spaghetti at the same time. GGF ate the plate of food in the picture. It was steak, mashed potatoes, and green peas. I don't have all the right colors, so the steak was blue and the potatoes were pink.
Here I was laying on the kitchen floor. I count on everyone watching where they step, because you never know where I might be. My Batman shirt is a 4T size but it appears to be on the small side.
I even helped Barbara work on the big puzzle they have going. I probably put in 20 pieces with her assistance. I still am talking about the piece I picked up and put in the big puzzle a few days ago. We were all amazed.
We watched some of the Olympics, and I pretended to be an figure skater. I do insist on the audience watching me and not the real Olympics.
Barbara thinks this was the one time I laid down all day. I was watching the Olympics while eating an ice cream sandwich.
I rarely get hurt during any of my play. Just five minutes before Mommy got here to take me home, I hit my the side of my forehead on a hard chair arm and boy did that hurt. I have a bump on my head to prove it. We put a cold compress on it and that helped. Barbara is anxious to see how it looks tomorrow. She forgot to take a picture. She was busy comforting me.
I have a new buddy. His name is Valentine. He and Monk Monk and I are all going to be best buddies.
