I woke up several times during the night and when it was time to really wake up I was in a bad mood.  Mommy had an early doctor's appointment, so Barbara came over to take me to Mimz.  I was still acting up (throwing things), so Barbara gave me three swats on my jeans.  It hurt her hand but not my bottom.  haha.  She would have put me in Time Out but she didn't have time since I had to get to school on time.

For the first ten minutes of our drive there was silence, by then I was tired of being mad, so I nicely asked if it was going to rain today and would I get to play outside at school.  From that moment on I was well behaved.  Why I have to act up, I will never know.  Hopefully I outgrow it soon.

I gave Mimz the Valentines I made for her and the one for Daddy also.  Mommy already had hers.  I made one for my great grandparents and Grandma and PaPa also.  I explained to Mimz all the parts of the card I did.  When I told her I wrote the capital M on my name, she said she had noticed that.  I think they will all love their cards.

Mimz took us to the donut shop, where I ate a Kolache and a donut, before she took me to school.  


After school we opened up a bag of books Barbara brought to Mimz.  We sat down and read one of them.  We were excited to have new books.  I played on my knees on the fireplace hearth.  I love that spot and play well by myself.

Later we sat down and read for almost an hour.  A funny thing: Mimz read one book aloud, while I looked at another book.  That might be different, but I like it.  I noticed the page numbers on my book.  I started reading them off at 14 and went all the way to 35.  Mimz only had to help me one time.  She was impressed.  She was surprised I would sit for that long.

Next I told the story as I turned the pages in a book Mimz read to me this morning.  I remembered some of the story and the words.  I can spell some words.  The first words I learned were Mason, stop, go, and no.   I can also read those words.

A funny thing:  Mimz tummy growled loudly and we looked at each other and laughed.  She asked me, "Did you hear that?  ?What do you think it was saying?"  I laughed and said I don't understand that talk!

I am good with numbers.  I am starting to like letters more.  I am a good tracer.   One thing I do is trace the capital letter J and then when I am writing it on my own, I turn the hook the wrong way.  Mimz says that is a common mistake.

Daddy, Mimz, and I went to Neil's for dinner.  I fell asleep on the ride home.
