Good news:  Mimz' gallbladder surgery was scheduled for 1pm this afternoon.  She was all ready for it, having had a great shower, with a special soap to kill germs.  Poor Mimz hasn't had any real food since Sunday afternoon. She must be hungry and weak.  They did more testing in the morning and decided she had pancreatitis but it was not due to gallstones.  They took the tube out of her nose and she was glad about that.  Daddy will take her home after he gets off work tonight.   She has to take it easy for a few days and have clear liquids.  I'm hoping she gets to feeling good soon and is out in the backyard playing soccer soon.

It was 48 degrees this morning and that felt cold after having such nice warm weather for the past week.  We couldn't play outside because it was rained off and on all day.  Mimz and I had told Barbara how much I enjoy buying a hot dog lunch of Wednesday, so I didn't take my lunch today. Barbara asked how my hot dog lunch was, I said I didn't have a hot dog.  I chose to have a chicken nugget lunchable.... that is what she puts in my lunch most days!  Go figure!
Here I am cleaning my easel...
...and picking up other toys.
Playing pretend.... I do a lot of that.
Me watching something on the iPad.

Old fashioned idea: My soccer practice was scheduled for 5:30pm.  We had a soft rain most of the day so we wondered if that would affect my practice.  Barbara remembers how it was in the old days, and she thought we would find out from the coaches if practice was canceled.  Well, times have changed.  Now we just had to go to the Klein Soccer Club web site and the answer was posted saying the soccer park was closed today due to rain.

I have only wanted to eat pancakes for the past few days.  I might try a bite of two of something else, but in the end it is pancakes that I have devoured.    Today GGM fixed goulash.  I ate about ten bites, then said I wanted pancakes.  Barbara zapped one in the microwave oven, and I quickly ate it before I headed upstairs.  I had noticed GGM had gone upstairs and I figured I could get her to play Cars with me.  She had gone up there to work on a jigsaw puzzle, but I convinced her she would have more fun playing in Car Town.
Playing catch in the garage.

I know I am to set my milk glass away from the edge of the table so I won't accidentally hit it and have it spill.  I was doing just that when it spilled.  It was okay, except that I had only drank about half of it and it had my Merilax dose in it.  Oh, well, we will just hope I got enough to keep me regular.

I have three tiny new skin tags on my right forearm and one on my upper left chest near my shoulder.  The two Barbara and Mommy picked at went away.  I wonder if they will do the same with these very tiny ones.  I wonder if that is a bad thing to do or not.  The others I have are too big to get rid of that way now.  We are just waiting for them to disappear on their own.  Dr. Lacour said it could take weeks or months or up to two years for them to disappear on their own.

I played nicely by myself a few times today.  I still really prefer to have a playmate.

A funny thing:  Barbara was saying "hockey puck" and it came out "pockey huck."  I laughed and laughed.   A few months ago, I wouldn't have known what had happened, but I "get" a lot of things now.

Today I asked Barbara if she remembered the time the electricity was out and Mommy had to get ready for work using a flashlight.  She did remember, but what amazed her was that that was before GGM and GGF moved down here and they have lived here a year now.  She couldn't believe that I could remember that.
