I ate breakfast and brushed my teeth, then GGM, Barbara, and I played Car Town, Dream Snatchers and then we threw my 100 balls at each other over and over.
I bet we threw 1000 balls before we quit for lunch.
After lunch, Barbara and GGM both needed naps so I sat on Barbara's bed and watched Emergency and Adam 12. Barbara didn't get a nap but at least she got to rest.
We did some more rock painting. We practiced what I would do if Master Parks asks me to lead the class again. I did head rolls, arm circles, hip curls, knee curls, and jumping jacks. I am ready when called on.
I watched Gunsmoke with GGF and Leave it to Beaver with Barbara. We popped a couple dozen water balloons in the house... boy they are loud.
I am always eager to go to Taekwondo class. Today was another very good class. We learned how to fold our uniform. Barbara was on the floor so she could learn and help me practice. This is one of the requirements to earn a yellow belt. We also practiced tying our "dee" (belt). I learned two new words. Our practice studio is called a "dough john" and we can call all of our instructors "saw-bum-nim."
The first thing we do is say "Cherry up" which means "attention" and slap our hands to our thighs and stand at attention. Then we bow "kyungRae."
A student tried to help me learn a bit of the first form. I can't do it. Barbara is trying to learn it so she can help me. She found a very good YouTube video of Form 1, and she has watched it and stopped it a hundred times trying to learn the routine. It really should be easy, but she is not very coordinated.
I broke a board with my foot on my first attempt. We had this practice once before and it took me at least a dozen attempts before I broke the board. The second time I tried I didn't get it done, we were quitting that practice and going on to something else.
