Happy 86th birthday, Great Grandmother. She had a good day. She spend it babysitting her two great grandchildren. She says she is so fortunate to be able to enjoy watching us grow and learn an be happy children.
I woke up at 7am very hungry. Mimz fixed me a big pancake breakfast and I was then ready to get dressed for school. Mimz gave me my medicine and then she took it to school with us. She asked the school to put it in the refrigerator for Barbara to pick up after school. It has to go wherever I am since I have to take it twice a day for ten days.
Mimz had Barbara pick me up after school. She was sick for a week, then she had me for a week, while Barbara was sick, so she is behind on errands, and everything. She is going to spend today catching up of those things.
Occasionally we are stopped by a train on our drive home from school. I always ask Barbara to roll down my car window, so I can hear the train whistle and the clickiety clack of the train on the rails.
Anna Kate was asleep when I got home from school. Barbara and I went upstairs to play.
We thought of the slime we made a couple of months ago and we decided to see if it was still slimy.
Guess what? It is as good as new.
We have three small zip-lock bags of different shades of blue slime. I want to give one bag to Mimz so we can play with it at her house.
I heard AK holler letting us know she was awake. She kept hollering, so we knew she was hungry. Barbara fed her carrots and squash, while I played Bookworm on the computer with GGM. GGF was asleep sitting in a living room rocking chair.
We have to stay with AK all the time. Our new floors won't be installed until the end of May and we don't want her on the hard concrete in case she falls. She may not be a confident crawler yet, but she can make her way off the mats.
If we call her name, she will often turn to look at us.
Oh, dear. She found this chest of drawers and she opened a drawer. She can't be allowed to do that, in case she shuts the drawer on her fingers. She has to be watched ALL the time.
AK enjoyed riding in her stroller while Barbara pushed her and I rode my scooter, while we raced around our dead-end street. Our path was the shadow of a big grove of trees. That kept AK in the shade. I had to race around two times, AK only had to go around one time. I won every race, of course.
Barbara and I played basketball, with a pretend goal. The score ended up 6 to 3. You know who the winner was.
Mr. Brad started working in his yard and I went to help.
I had on goggles, hard hat, and ear plugs while he used his blower.
I played in the dirt while he used the mower and edger. Barbara watched me from her yard.
Mommy picked me up after work.
