Happy 84th Birthday, Bubba.  I hope you get to spend the day with your Tennessee family.


I happily took my medicine and Mimz also gave me Claritin because my allergies are acting up.  I climbed into Mimz bed around 3:30am with a stuffy nose and six sneezes all in a row.  Then I settled down and slept till 8am. 

Mimz and I had time before leaving for school to watch two short video clips of Anna Kate that Barbara sent to us.  She is so cute!

 Anna Kate is able to crawl but in this clip she didn't really have a good reason to go forward.

Now this is a little different.  Anna Kate sees something that motivates her to make it across her mats quickly!

 GGM has some cucumbers planted in her front yard flower garden.  Anna Kate watched her weed the beds.

 GGF walked Anna Kate over to Dan's to let him ohh and ahh at what a happy baby she is.  GGF said she never quit grinning while Dan looked at her.

This little girl would stay outside all day if we let her.

 She used to lay down to play with this little jungle scene....

... now she sits up and can crawl around to get to the different  hanging toy.

Several times Mimz has tried to get me to try apple slices and peanut butter but I never would.  Today Mimz made some for herself and sat down beside me.  It didn't take long and I was ready to try.  I loved it and I ate half an apple with peanut butter.  I asked if that was a healthy snack and I smiled big when Mimz said yes.

Mimz and I talked about Mother's Day.  I told her I was doing a project at school and that I would bring it home tomorrow.

Mimz and Barbara talked about how Mimz and Pops families celebrate all holidays.  Barbara said she and her parents don't.  Barbara said it is good people are different.  It makes them unique and interesting.  

Mimz made a play date for me with the two girls next door (there is a third girl but she is a toddler) after they get home from school around 3:30p or 4p.  We played with water guns on the driveway and had so much fun.

Mommy worked late, so it was almost 7pm before she picked me up.  I had started to get sleepy, so Mimz and I went outside.  I rode my scooter around the driveway.  I had scooter crash!  I skinned my arm near my elbow.  No biggie.
