April 9, 2016 Saturday
I woke up very early, maybe 6:30am to help set tables and things outside on the driveway for the garage sale we were going to have. I helped Mommy put up a sign down at the far corner street. I was a big help. I wanted to eat my breakfast out in the garage so I could be a part of all the activity.
A fun thing: Mommy and Barbara had gone through my old things and put several toys into the garage sale. This morning, I saw those things and six items came back inside the house for me to keep.
Mommy and I had to leave the sale to go to my soccer game. Daddy had my uniform so I got dressed at the soccer fields. My team had won all of the games so far this season, but we sure didn't win today. I didn't score any points. I think the final score might have been something like 15 - 1. We just have to be good sports and try to win next week.
I went home with Mimz for a couple of hours. I played with Knox. Mommy came to get me and take me home. By noon the sale was over and they had closed up shop and donated anything left over to a charity that was scheduled to stop by to pick up donations.
Barbara had been trying to find me a pogo stick but so far we didn't have one. In the mean time, I decided I really would like to have a new scooter. I had a choice of which one I wanted. I chose the scooter. Mommy took me shopping and we found a really neat one. Thank you, Barbara.
This little violet was growing on top of our mailbox.
Even though it is not good for the mailbox to have a plant growing on it, Barbara was disappointed when one of my friends picked it....
Alyssa was playing with me when Mommy wanted us to go visit Andy's family, so we asked her dad if she could go with us. Alyssa and I took our scooters. We rode down to the end of Andy's street and we met a family with a 6-year-old and a ten-year-old. We played with them while Mommy and Kristan talked with the parents.
On our way home, we were hungry, so Mommy stopped at McDonald's to get us a snack. We ate at home, and walked Alyssa home. It was around 10pm, and I was ready for bed. I was asleep in just a couple of minutes.
