Today I woke up excited because I was going to have my first golf lesson. I took the paper I needed to give to Mrs. Meredith so she would make sure I went to golf instead of going to the bus. I knew that I was to go to the area by the science lab as soon as school let out.
Mrs. Meredith was back at school. She missed two days last week because of illness. I was glad she was back.
Today I received a Great Conduct spirit stick for this past nine weeks.
My golf coaches were named Kennedy and Marco. There were 12 kids of all ages taking the lessons. We practiced putting. I got a seven. We also learned a word, that I can't remember, that we could use to remember the important things we need to. Funny, I can't remember the word. I know the A stood for Aim, G for grip, P for posture. I don't recall the other letters.
Soon we will get a book that has all the things we are learning in it so we can recall things.
Barbara and GGF came up to the school to watch the last few minutes of the class. I think next week they will come much earlier so they can see more of the class.
Barbara brought me a bottle of water. I drank almost the entire bottle. I said I would like for her to fix brownies when we got home. I was surprised when I opened the door and smelled brownies. GGM had made them.
I played with Anna Kate. We helped her practice saying words: moon, airplane, hot dog, purple, and baby. Purple is a new word she learned today. We hope she will say those words for her mother when she comes to pick Baby Girl up. We still call her Baby Girl sometimes.
I played with all the neighbor kids, including River, who lives across the street from Jackson.
Mommy and I watched a little of the NC vs Vilanova basketball championship game. I didn't see most of the game. Too bad NC lost. My dad is a big North Carolina fan.
