I went off to school with a smile.

At school we talked about this being National Walk Day.

Mimz is on jury duty this week and next Monday.  That means she could not pick me up after school and take me to my soccer practice today.  Barbara has a tooth that is hurting her and she has Anna Kate to take care of, so it was decided I would miss practice today.

I was invited to go to Alyssa's soccer practice but to get to go I had to do most of my homework before 5:15pm.  So Alyssa and I sat at the breakfast table with Barbara and we did all of my homework.  If I had problems, Alyssa helped me.  A fun thing we did was go through all of my flash cards.  I would say the word on one card, then Alyssa would say the word on the next card.  We both were 100 percent correct.  We read one of my library books and my Easy Reader.

At 5:15pm, Keisha, Alyssa's mom took us and Cole to Alyssa's practice.  I didn't get to practice, but I had fun watching and cheering when Alyssa did something good.

Cole and I helped Mr Brad carry grass clipping back behind his fence.  Then we helped pick grapefruit off his tree. 

I took about 15 home with me.  Cole took some too.  When Mimz saw this picture she said I looked just like Uncle Scott when he was my age.  She sent this picture to Uncle Scott so he could see it.

I ate two grapefruits with a little sugar on them.  I used to not like them, but I sure do now.  I like using a grapefruit spoon to eat them, that makes it a lot easier to get the good stuff out.

Bu 8:15pm, I had taken a shower, brushed my teeth, and was in bed with the iPad. At 8:30pm it was lights out.  I was asleep by 8:40pm.
