I knew Alyssa would be wearing her new basketball shoes to school, so I wore mine also. I realized when I was playing on the playground that my old shoes are better for playing so I took them in my bookbag.

I brought home another S for my conduct today.  The teacher said I play too roughly on the playground.  I don't keep my hands to myself and I have knocked kids down.

My First Communion rehearsal was at 5pm.  Mommy took off work early so she could be there.   Barbara took me and she decided to stay so she could see what it was going to be like.  She was impressed with how pretty the church sanctuary was. 

We  checked me in and they left to find my families pew using the map they were given.  Because I'm going to have 17 in my family pew,  my row was near the back.  There are approximately 90 children taking part in first communion.

We practice the processional twice.  The important thing to remember is to stay beside my partner, no matter how fast or slow we walk.  When it it my turn to take communion, my entire family is to gather around me and walk with me to the priest as a group, not in single file.     We take the cracker from the priest first, then we walk over to where the wine is.  Then we all go back to our seat.

I came home and played with Alyssa and later with Xavier.   I came in to eat dinner, and read, and finally to take a shower before gong to bed.
