The very first thing I did this morning was get GGM to come upstairs to play with my fire and police stations on my craft table. I had an early soccer game, so Barbara was trying to get me to go eat breakfast and get dressed in my soccer gear. Barbara did something for the first time: she put a pair of shin guards on someone. It didn't take her long to figure it out but she did have to study them for a minute. She thinks there is a left and a right shin guard, but she didn't know which was which.
I had a great game, scoring four goals, maybe more. Sometimes it is hard to tell who really kicked the ball into the goal because we can be in a tight bunch. The coach asked me if I was tired and needed a break. I told him I never need to rest. I want to play. But I did have to sit out for a short time.
I spent that sideline time with Daddy...
We talked ....
... and hugged.
I went home with Mimz after the match. I was tired but I just would not take a nap. Mimz and I went to the park. I climbed the rock wall. I remember when I first started trying to climb it. I could just go up three or four steps then I would back down, but now I easily make it all the way to the top. I had a blast playing with all the kids at the park.
Two of the boys were around my age. Mimz was going to go to church tonight, but she decided to go tomorrow instead, so I could keep playing at the park.
Jackson and I went to the pond to watch the turtles.
Back home I played with my Police Lego set. There are many little pieces to that Lego set, but I noticed a couple of little things they should have included: a cup of coffee and a donut. Policeman like coffee and donuts. And the motorcycle policeman is missing a helmet... he must have a helmet!
I told Mimz I wanted Mexican food for dinner, but when it was time to go get the food, I decided I would rather eat what we had at home, so I didn't have to leave my Lego play. I do have a long attention span for a little kid.
Mimz sets an alarm for 8pm which is the signal that it is bathtime. Before bed I watched steer wrestling on the iPad.
Daddy brought over a small scooter that Pops used. I can't wait until Mommy is up and about so I can show her how to use it. Pops would hold me and we drove all over the neighborhood riding on it.
Grandma got Mommy a knee scooter that will help Mommy move around the house and at work. It is a scooter than you put your knee and bent injured leg on and then use it like a scooter. Mommy likes it much better than using a walker to get around upstairs.
