At 10pm the moon was big, bright, and full.
Barbara and GGF went outside (where it was 40 degrees) and watched it using binoculars. It was very impressive.
This is what the eclipse looked like with professional cameras.
It was so cool outside we decided to fix Taco Soup. By dinner time, it was hot outside and we wondered why we were fixing hot soup. But it tasted good anyway.
I wanted to watch Emergency on TV while I ate breakfast. I dressed myself with help putting on my jeans and shoes. I took my lunch to school in my Easter bucket. It is the same bucket I used at school last year for Easter. It is big and will hold a lot of eggs when I have Easter egg hunts.
It was very chilly when I left for school so I wore a jacket with the hood on my head. When Barbara picked me up it was almost 80 degrees. She did remember to bring me a drink. I am so thirsty after TOT practice.
Mommy is feeling pretty good. She still can't put any weight on her left foot, but she will play ball with us. We played Keep Away and Dream Snatchers. GGM and I played Army and with my Imaginext toys. Barbara played with us a little. When Barbara says, "Let GGM rest, I will play with you." I say, "No, you go cook or fold clothes. I want GGM to play. She likes to play." Poor GGM doesn't know how to say no to me. She is 86 and I like playing with her.
Daddy came over to get me and Mommy. He took me to Mimz house. We took her some Taco Soup, since the recipe makes a big big pot full. Mimz and I went to the park. This week, the park personel are hiding golden eggs and we wanted to hunt for them. We didn't find the eggs, but I did meet two new boys to play with. They are brothers ages 7 and 4. I am almost as big as the 7 year old.
I spent the night at Mimz' to help Barbara out. Mimz can take me to school in the morning, while Barbara takes GGF to a doctor's appointment.
