Mommy took me to Mimz, who got me to school and picked me up from school. Mimz and I rode our bikes in the neighborhood and I suggested we go to the park, so we did.
And guess who was at the park? Sophia. We played nicely and before long a couple children from my school showed up and we all played nicely.
Mimz made me rest for a while but I wouldn't go to sleep and I didn't want to eat, so I was not in a very good mood when it was time for me to go to baseball practice. I cried that I didn't want to go but that didn't do me any good. It just made it harder getting me into my practice clothes and into the car, where I promptly fell asleep. But Mimz did get me to practice on time. Barbara got there the same time we did. Mommy showed up a little later. GGM didn't come because her eyes have been bothering her for a couple of days. Hope that clears up soon.
I got to practice batting three times and I only swung the bat three times to have three nice solid hits. We also practices catching fly balls. None of us could do that. I could easily catch the balls after they bounced one time. Practice, Practice, Practice.
Over all the practice was minor chaos. There were moms there hearing the rules from the team moms, another mom taking orders for t-shirts and hats. There were seven little sisters running around. And eleven boys learning baseball skills. You can tell the coaches are not real teachers. They also have a lot turn learn. Practice started at 6 and we played until it was too dark to see. I find it a little boring, but after I understand what to look for and what to do, I will like it better.
Back at Mimz home I ate three helpings of spaghetti and had a quick bath. I was one tired boy and I was in bed by 8:40 and fell asleep soon.
