I was asleep last night before 8pm and this morning I was awake before 6am.  I didn't want to go back to sleep so Barbara fixed my breakfast and played games with me.  We played Lady Luck, a dice game and then we raced to finish one side of the Rubic's Cube.  We both work it in about the same amount of time.

Barbara wanted me to read but I didn't want to.  I did play Texas Stride on the computer.  I'm in fourth place for all second graders at my school.  We turned on the TV but that didn't interest me very long.  I had to wait until 9am to knock on neighbor's doors and then only if there were lights on or it looked like people were up and around.  Austin was awake but his parents weren't so he couldn't play.

I went back home where I got Barbara to come outside and shoot arrows at a target.  At first she did better than me, but after I got the hang of it, I hit the target more than she did.  Finally Austin could play around 10pm.
At 11:30 Barbara came to get me.  I had to shower and get dressed up nicely for my Reconciliation.
Mommy said I looked super great.

Papa and Grandma were here.  They were going to do some chores around the house, like change out the doorbell, and clean up all the debris from the big winds and take home several boxes of their stuff.  Grandma decided to go with Mommy and me to my Reconciliation and Papa would stay and do the chores.
Mommy took this picture outside the church.
My candle was perfect.
This picture is of about one-fourth of the candles.  I would guess there were at least 100 children.  And only children whose last name started with L through Z were there.

There were eight priests to here our first confessions.  All the kids got in lines in front of a priest.  We got in the line of the priest from St. Edwards.  He was the priest who performed Bridget and Chris' wedding was.  We were about in the middle of the line.  Mommy helped me light my candle.  We were going to go out to eat but when we got home I wanted to go play instead, so eating out was put off for another day.

Julian, Xavier and I played football in my front yard until 6pm.  We quite because it had gotten dark and cold.

At 7:15pm I asked GGM if she had a can of Pringles that Barbara and I could have to munch on during the football game.  It is our tradition to eat a can of Pringles when we are watching football.  GGM gave me her last can.  Maybe they need to buy a couple more cans so we will have them to finish off the season.

I curled up in my warm soft blanket on Mommy's sofa an it wasn't long before I was asleep.
