January 2, 2018

I didn't go to sleep last night until after 10pm.  Before she left for her volunteer job at the hospital, Mimz put her iPad in my bed so it would be there when I woke up.  I like to watch it a little before I get up.

I was really hungry and ate lots of scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast.  I had Aunt Kaki's seafood gumbo for a late lunch.  I loved it and ate the shrimp, crab and oysters!

Daddy and I had the dirt bike out for a bit but it was just too cold to stay outside very long.  We worked on setting up my play station so I could play some new games.

Mimz helped me work Chapter 3 of my church workbook.  She noticed my reading is improving.

While Mimz had chocolate chip cookies in the oven she fixed me hot chocolate.  She told me it would be the best I had ever had.  She heated the milk in a pan on the stove top just like her mom did for her.  I drank two cups and really like it.  We didn't put in any marshmallows.  My dad and Uncle Scott didn't like them as boys.  And guess what, my mom has never liked marshmallows either.

It's nice to have this week off just to play and relax without any extra-curricular activities.

Grandma ordered a red hover board for me.  It arrived today.  Someone told her to buy one that is UL2272 certified...they are supposed to be safer.
Information about Hofius, the new intermediate school.  It is being built right next door to Metzler and it opens this coming August.
