At Wal-Mart GGM, Barbara, and I got a cookie at the bakery, bought a few groceries, and we looked at the toys. I already knew Barbara would not buy me a toy. She says I have enough toys and she is right. But when we were putting our groceries on the conveyor belt, I spotted a new Hot Wheels car. (Barbara is a sucker for Hot Wheels for me.) I carried that car until I got home to put it into Car Town. Someday I need to have Barbara take a picture of my cars. I have some pretty ones. We have lots and lots of favorites.
As soon as the groceries were put away, GGM and I played cars. Then we played with my wooden blocks.
Remember the train set that Barbara (without instructions or a picture) spent 30 minutes trying to put the track together before she threw her hands up and gave up? Well, Grandma got it together. It was easy if you had good eyes and could see different colored shapes molding into the track showing which two pieces to put together. Well, today in two minutes, Barbara and I set up the track and ran the big train on it. It was iffy as to if the train would run or not. In the end we decided it was better to just move the train by hand.
We played with that train, and wooden blocks, and cars, and baseball players, policemen, and fireman for the next hour or so.
Barbara got me to play with an app about Comparisons. I was an expert at it in no time.
Watching Gunsmoke...
I like having someone watch it with me. I don't insist that they watch my cartoons though.
I helped GGF and Mr. Brad work in our yards. I helped Barbara clean the waterfall. I took a long bath playing with my ball players. They are my favorite toys right now. I laid down to watch two TV shows but never came close to falling asleep.
I helped Mr. Brad change his lawn mower spark plug.
As soon as I saw Mr. Brad outside, I insisted that he wanted my help, so
Barbara and I went outside. I got my garden tools, gloves,...
... wheelbarrow, and bucket to help him weed a flowerbed. We were just finishing up when Daddy drove up to get me around 5pm. It was a good day.
