I spent the night with Mimz. She heard me talk in my sleep a couple of times. One time I said, "Water gun." I must have been dreaming about our playing with water guns.
There is a new boy at school named Eliah. He played with Brant and me.
Mimz picked me up from school and took me over to Barbara's right after school because she had rodeo plans with Aunt Kathy. Uncle Wendell treated them to tickets to see Blake Shelton.
Before they went to the Blake Shelton show they met up with Uncle Scott and Aunt Jill in the Wine Garden. Mimz said they had a great time and a special treat was that Blake's wife, Miranda Lambert, joined him on stage for a song. She said it was almost midnight before she got home.
A funny thing: I was silently mouthing something. Barbara asked me what I was doing. I said I was singing "Chew tobacco, chew tobacco.... spit." Barbara asked where I learned that. I said from Mimz. Barbara assumed Mimz made up the little ditty because we have been playing a lot of Gunsmoke and they do spit on the Gunsmoke show. (When I saw them spitting on Gunsmoke, I asked Barbara about spitting and she told me all about manners.) We learned later that those words are in a song the Blake Shelton sings and Mimz and I heard it on the radio. Barbara laughed because she really thought it was a Mimz creation.
We had a short afternoon of play, mostly playing in Car Town which today was a western town named Dodge City. The cars were wagons and we had a couple horses pulling them around.
We were outside playing with water guns when Mommy arrived.
It is March Madness time, so Daddy and I went over to Big Mason's house, so Daddy and Craig could watch basketball and Big Mason and I could roughhouse. I got a little booboo on my elbow but I said it didn't bother me.
