First thing we did was pick up a couple hundred sweet gum balls from the yard. We just did that a day or two ago. It is a fun little activity that we all participate in.
Anytime we eat an orange...
... we have an orange peel fight. We save the peel to fight again later... then it peel goes into the garage disposal to make it smell good.
I decorated my soccer ball with the orange peel.
GGM asked what I was doing, I said just goofing around.
We potted a tomato plant in a gizmo that Grandma won at Bingo. After the plant is in the gizmo, you hang it so the plant is upside down. The is an experiment to see how it works. We hope to check it every day and then count the tomatoes every day. We are hoping for a hardy crop.
I wore my boots to help GGF sweep away a puddle that collects near our driveway. We sweep it maybe 50 feets to the water sewer.
We read one book and watched one episode of Gunsmoke. The rest of the day was "active play."
Lots of Car Town and blocks play. We drew on the whiteboard. We do prefer the whiteboard to the chalkboard.
If I am at Barbara's home when it is time for eye drops, I hop up on GGF chair and get as close as I can to watch. I want to put the drops in GGF's eye, but GGM won't let me...yet.
I have three small blue fireman and policeman, but today while we were having a big neighborhood party at the firestation in Car Town, I noticed that there were three more. Barbara said they were policeman from a neighboring town. There were part of something that Grandma bought at a garage sale. She had given them, along with many other small things to Barbara. Barbara doles them out very very slowly to me. She thinks I enjoy them more getting little prizes over a period of time as opposed to Christmas where I get 20 gifts and don't remember but a few of them at the end of the day. But she also says, different strokes for different folks.
Daddy picked me up after work.
