The plan was to clean the waterfall this morning.  We have talked about getting me some rubber boots because I often help sweep water down the street  to the sewer.  We have a low spot that collects water.  We decided that today was the day to shop for rubber boots, so GGM, Barbara, and I went to Wal-mart.  We came up empty handed finding me some boots.  Barbara will ask Mommy to shop for some and she would pay for them.  Back home we soon discovered that the water in the waterfall was extremely cold, it was windy and thus we decided to put off that cleaning chore.
We did purchase a package of jean patches.  One of my pairs of jeans has a hole in the knee.  Barbara has said she would patch it and I kept saying no I wanted it left alone.  Well, now it is a big hole and I finally agreed to the patch.
From an upstairs window we watched six big deer grazing on the grass behind our yard.

I wanted to go outside to watch them but Barbara said they would run away, so I had to be content to watch from inside.
GGF and I used blowers to clean up the curb and driveway.

I got to use a real blower for a big.  I soon decided it was too heavy, and I went back to using my toy blower.
Mr. Brad came out to mow, so I got to help him also.  I sure had fun running back and forth between the two big guys working on the yards.
I wore the gloves Mr. Brad bought for me and when I would get thirsty I would run back home to get a drink.  I always stop to check for traffic before I run across the street, even though we are the only houses on our dead end street.  Good habit to have.

When GGM and I went to play in Car Town, I made a discovery.  There was a new feature: a pitcher, a catcher, and an umpire.  I loved that.  We still need to make a baseball diamond.   Every car in town came to watch the baseball game.
I took those baseball guys and my fireman and policeman into the bath tub to play.
 Taking a moment to rest.
GGM and GGF both took a nap.  Barbara laid on the sofa and I played with my blocks, baseball guys and firemen and policemen.  Then we watched Gunsmoke.  In a bit GGF came in to watch it with us.  He sure likes that I like to watch his show.

We did siphon as much water as we could out of the waterfall.  It was a big challenge to keep me from stepping in the soggy grass where the water was running.  I sure need those boots.

I ate a good lunch but didn't eat much dinner.  Daddy came to get me around 5:15.   He came upstairs to actually see Car Town.  He had only read about it on this blog.  We showed him everything.   The pitcher's arm broke off.  Barbara promised to try to hot glue it back on.  We seem to use hot glue at least once a week to repair toys.  Does that mean I am a rough and tough guy?
