When I woke up, I heard my mom moving around in the living room.  I was surprised to see it was not my mom... it was Barbara.  Mommy had already left for work and Barbara came over so I could sleep in.  After getting dressed, we ate breakfast at McDonald's inside the Walmart store.  We had two things to buy: a sippie cup for Anna Kate and some eggs.   It was hard to pick out a sippie cup.  They had 50 different choices for us to pick from.  We finally bought a package with two cups and we will give one to Grandma so she will have a sippie for AK at her house.

We also went to Kroger hoping to find the medium sized yellow rubber ball that we saw there last week.  It was gone but we did see two marbleized balls that we liked: one orange and white and one red and white.  They were $1 so we bought both.  Barbara put them away and will give them to me when she thinks the time is right.

Corn on the cob is  12 cents an ear so we have been eating lots of it. We may freeze some to eat when they are out of season.

Brad was going to the gas station to fill up his gas cans and I was invited to ride along.  Barbara wouldn't let me.  She won't take me or her parents when she is filling the car with gas.... she doesn't want to risk us being in a dangerous situation.  She knows that may be a silly rule, but it is hers and she is sticking to it.  So I accepted it and played inside with Barbara for the 15 minutes Brad was gone.

We played Kerplunk and Don't Spill the Beans.  We each won about half the games.  I need to take these games over to Mimz and play them with her or invite her over to play with us at Barbara's home.
