I spent the day at the lake with Grandma, Lisa, Danny, and Elizabeth.
Someone came up with the idea of our trying indoor skydiving. What a super fun idea! iFly Woodlands is near I-45 and Woodlands Parkway.
Andy, Kristan, Elizabeth, and I all decided we would except the challenge and I'm so glad I did!
Grandma, Mommy, Danny, Lisa, Anna Kate, GGF, and Barbara all just watched. Daddy and Mimz both had other plans or they would have been there also.
Anna Kate is only ten months old and she is already learning how to use an iPhone!
We had to be there at 7pm to watch other people do it before us. We also watched the professionals, and boy were they talented. They did some unbelievable moves.
We all dressed in jumpsuits.
I had a little red one and Mommy thought I was just the cutest thing on earth.
I listened intently to the instructor.
At 8pm, we got started. I went first and I did it so well it was hard to believe it was my first time. Everyone took pictures, Barbara took video with the video camera. She can't send them by text, so Grandma will have to put them on her computer and then share by thumb drive. My first time involved the instructor holding me so I didn't go flying off to the roof. Oh, they also turned the fans down very low because I don't weigh much. Now, when it was Andy turn they turned all fans on full blast so they would have enough wind to hold him up. The first time lasted a couple minutes and the instructor let go of me a couple of times and I managed to fly! The second time also lasted about that same amount of time, but this time the instructor held onto me and we both flew up at least 20 feet high. I think the highest is about 40 feet.
All of us went about 20 feet up, with the instructor holding onto us. We all did better than the group before us. I think because we are all pretty athletic.
This is a super great picture. In the background are Grandma, Barbara using a video camera, GGF, and Lisa taking pictures.
I wanted to go back to the lake with Grandma.
