Mommy took me to Mimz.  Mimz took me to my last swim lesson with Miss Megan.  I did well.
Next week starts a new session and my instructor will be Alex.  My lessons will still be on Monday and Wednesday but will be at 9:30am.

Back at Mimz I took a nap.  She let me sleep for an hour and a half.

I went on a bike ride with Skyler, Knox, and their dad, Mr. Jake after dinner.

This is a picture of my dad when he was 5 or 6.  His soccer team was named the Dukes because The Dukes of Hazard was a popular TV show.  One interesting thing about this picture is the Confederate flag in the background.  Today that would not be allowed.  The Confederate flag is in the news a lot this week because new laws are requiring it to be removed from South Carolina government grounds because many consider it to be a racist thing.    

GGM and Barbara babysat Anna Kate today.  She amazed them several times.  AK can stand for 10 to 30 seconds all by herself.  She did this a couple of dozen times.  When her mom came to pick her up, Barbara stood her up and AK took one step to her mom.  Oh, she will be walking very very soon.

AK also crawled up to a closed door, got down on her belly, and put her head on the floor so she could look under the door to see what was out there.

She also used her hand to remove both GGM and Barbara's hands from her toys, so she could play with them all my herself.  She is very determined and wants things her way.

 This time of year the high temperature is well into the 90s so we take her outside early in the morning to get some sun and fresh air.  She would be willing to stay outside all day.

I have been practicing doing cartwheels.  I am not good.... yet.
