July 13, 2015

Mimz and I had breakfast at the doughnut shop.  Mimz bought four extra kalochies (one without cheese for Barbara) and three bear claws and a doughnut with sprinkles for us to give to Barbara and my great grandparents.
Barbara met us at my swim lesson.  Isaac and I were Miss Megan's only students today.  I received a progress report  that included comments on the bottom of the second page from Miss Megan about my progress.

I did such a good job at my lesson, Mimz treated me to Tutti Frutti frozen yogurt.  I had vanilla, cake batter, and cotton candy.  I could not eat it all, so Barbara put the rest in her freezer for me to eat later.

Mr. Brad was working in his yard.  I invited him over to share the treats Mimz bought for us at the grocery store.  He stopped working, put on a clean shirt, and came over to join us.  We ate every bite.  Barbara sent Mimz a text telling her we shared the goodies with Mr. Brad and to thank her.

Kristan had a teacher's meeting, so we were babysitting.  AK was sleeping when we got to Barbara's home.  I got Barbara and GGM to come upstairs to play Dodge ball.  We started out playing calmly, but by the end it was a free-for-all with all of us throwing balls at everyone.  Crazy fun.

Dodge Ball ended when AK woke up.  Barbara fed her while I played with one of the balls I got at the dentists office.  Those little balls bounce high and I had fun chasing them all around the living room.

We played on AK's floor mats and on GGM's bed.  AK crawls off her mats and she pulls herself up at every piece of furniture.  She can balance pretty well but mostly she keeps one hand holding onto something to keep herself from falling.

This morning, AK went for a stroller ride, with GGM, GGF, and Barbara taking turns pushing her around our street.  She saw them all drinking out of cups and she sure wanted to also.
We put some water in one of my old sippie cups and she sure enjoyed drinking water.  We put "sippie cup" on our grocery list so we would remember to buy a new one for AK.

While AK took an afternoon nap, I played quietly with the iPad.  Barbara showed me how to play one of her games.  I know I was to work to get three like things in a row, but I don't quite have the hang of it yet.  I'll have to keep trying.

After eating spaghetti and corn-on-the-cob for dinner, I finished the last of my frozen yogurt.  It was yummy.

Barbara took me home so she could help Mommy work on getting ready for our move.  I went down to Jon Jon's to play baseball with him and his dad.

We sold our formal dining room furniture and our entertainment center and the people came to pick them up this evening.

Morgan has left on a bus for the drive to Camp Longhorn.  She has gone every year since she was eight years old and loves it.  Mimz and Barbara are saving their $$$ so I can go when I am going into second grade.
