This was a fun day.

It started with my morning chore.  Barbara and I washed her car.  We both had on swim suits so we could get wet.
Well, I got wet, but nothing compared to how wet Barbara got.  We started out with us both washing and rinsing, but I quickly changed that to Barbara washing an area of the car, then I would rinse, except I had the hose on Barbara a lot.  She could barely see out of her glasses.  We all laughed a lot.

One time I fooled Barbara:  We had finished washing the car and had rinsed out our bucket.  I told Barbara I wanted to fill the bucket and then pour it on myself.  We filled it, Barbara was trying to help me lift the bucket so I could pour it on me, but instead I poured it on her.  I hollered, "I fooled you!"

We picked our last cucumber.  I think we probably grew about 40 cucumbers from a 88 cent package of seeds.

Daddy sent me pictures of his work site.  I talked on and on about my dad working in outside sales.  He has to wear a hard hat when he is on one of these construction sites.

Except for watching one episode of Chips, we played "ball" all day.  Dodge ball, tiny rubber balls from the dentist, baseball, and basketball.  Anything that had a ball in it we played.
The very best part of the day was playing basketball with George.  George is 15-years-old and he plays basketball on his driveway all the time.   George knows both of my great grandparents.   GGM took me to his house and introduced me to him. I was shy at first, but only for about ten seconds.
Jackson, a 9-year-old neighbor that I already knew was there too.  The three of us boys played for more than 30 minutes.  GGF and Barbara both came down to watch us.
Normally George has the goal 10 feet high.  He had lowered it to 9 feet for Jackson, and he lowered it to 7 feet when I arrived.
I took my big basketball, that Mimz had bought me, but decided I needed my smaller, lighter, basketball.
I learned how to do a lay-up.
I had a great great time.  George said several times, I could come down and play anytime.  He also said, I could knock on the door and he would lower the basket for me.

When I came home, I had sweat dripping from my hair.  Boy, what a fun fun time I had.  I didn't know it but Barbara had told Grandma that a big basketball goal would be a good Christmas gift for me.  My mom, Andy, and Bridget had a goal that they used on our dead-end street.
I spend very little time sitting still.  Here I am a mountain climber with a safety belt around my waist.  I am moving all the time.

Daddy picked me up after work to start our boys weekend.
