I woke up excited to get ready to for school.  Today is Muffins for Mom's Day.  Mommy drove me to school and we walked in at 7:20am to enjoy eating muffins with all the other kids and their moms.  We wanted to have our picture taken but the line was very long and Mommy had to leave at 8am to get to work.  So she just took a picture of me.   (to be posted later)

I was absent from school yesterday, so I took two gifts to my teacher this morning.   My yesterday's gift was a gift card to Target. 

Today's gift was a "Mason" jar filled with Hersey Kisses.  Mrs. Meredith loved her gifts.  I gave her something every day for teacher's appreciation week.

I jumped off the bus happy to see four people waiting for me: GGF, GGM, Barbara, and my favorite Anna Kate. 

I played with Alyssa until 5pm when I had to get dressed for swim practice.  GGM babysat AK so Barbara could take me.  Today's practice was from 5:30 to 6:30 with ALL age groups.  Barbara counted at least 50 kids.  My 6 and under age group used lane 1.  We used a starting block and we all did belly flops to get into the pool.  We swam freestyle the entire length of the pool, climbed out and walked around to repeat.  We did this for an hour.  I was so tired.

The parents were given instructions and times and what we needed to do.  Barbara will take me to the coaches to get me signed up.  They will write my heats on my arm.... that's a good idea so they can't get lost.  Kids can hang out in the area set up for the kids or they can sit with their parent but then the parent is responsible to get them in line on-time. 

We didn't know we were going to have food to eat after practice.  They had spaghetti and meatballs from Papa Johns (I think), and bread sticks, and I had a Sprite.  Then for dessert I had a cinnamon stick and a frosted cookie.  Parents got to eat what was left after the kids finished.

I played on the playground for maybe ten minutes when we were all called back into the pool area.
All the kids went to a grassy area and we were led in four of five cheers.  That was a lot of fun.  Barbara's phone died early on so she only took a couple of pictures of me in the pool.

I had another cookie on my walk to the car.  I played with Alyssa until 8:45pm and we really wanted another sleep over but Barbara said not tonight, since I had to get to bed soon so I could get plenty of sleep.  I was in bed 9 and played on the iPad until 9:15.  Lights out and I was asleep by 9:25pm.  An hour later than normal but that was the best I could do.  I have to get up by 6:15am.
