Alyssa knocked on my door around 9:30am and we played all day together. We played at her house, my house, outside, her house, my house, and outside. Barbara said she would take us to the neighborhood pool with the stipulation that we only play in the baby pool because she is not a strong swimmer and she wanted to make sure we were completely safe. We agreed. Barbara put sunscreen on both of us. No one was at the pool except us.
We played with squirt guns.
We hunted for five colorful rings that sink to the bottom.
We played in the fountains. It was just a lot of fun. We stayed less than an hour. We had a blast. I think we will do this often this summer.
Back at home I ate delicious spaghetti for lunch.
Then I went to Alyssa's to swim in her swimming pool with her dad watching us. We wore big fins on our feet.
I wanted more spaghetti and then more watermelon.
The next thing that happened was a big surprise for me: Mommy, Barbara, and I sat down on the floor and Barbara video taped Mommy telling me we are going on a Disney World vacation leaving June 3rd. I was stunned at first, then I had so many questions. One question I asked was: "May Alyssa come with us?" Kids always like to have their friends join in the fun.
