I had to wake up around 6:15am to get ready for my 8am Time Trials swim meet. I had to be there between 7 and 7:15. We put sun screen on me at home and then again before the meet actually started. First thing I did was eat a big donut from the concession stand. GGF had one too.
I had to get in line to register. They put a lightening bolt on my hand to show I had registered. Grandma took me outside the fenced area to find the tent for my age group. My team mom wrote the numbers for the heats I would race in: 20 and 42.
My fans in attendance were: GGF, Grandma, Barbara, Mommy, and Daddy. Daddy and Mommy waited with me. GGF wanted to be in a warm place so he found a chair in the sun. Barbara sat with him.
There were maybe four heats before my race. There were eight children in my heat. I came in fourth out of eight swimming free-style. Barbara calls it the American Crawl. That is the old fashioned name for it. I ran out of steam towards the end. If I just get a little more steam I will be in the top finishers. I could not stay for my next race because I had a 10:30a soccer game.
My soccer game fans: GGF, Grandma, Barbara, Mommy, Bridget and Chris B, Mimz, and Daddy. We won. I scored two goals in the first couple minutes. Barbara was not thinking about recording so she didn't get videos of them. I did score another goal and she did get a video of my scoring kick.
Mimz brought refreshments for the team: Gatorade and _____. There was enough leftover for Bridget and Chris to get a snack. They left San Antonio around 7am, I think.
I went home with Daddy and Mimz.
Mommy came over in the late afternoon. We all went to the Pizza Hut near Minute Maid Park before going to the Dynamos soccer game. They are a professional team. The cost for Mommy and me was $54.00.
Several of the children from my soccer team and their families attended. Pictured are (left to right) Mason, ___, ___, Eli. Mimz is at the far left in the picture. Mommy bought me the soccer ball.
I'm not sure what day this happened but my soccer team had a party and we had snowballs to throw at each other. Oh, what fun.
