All I wanted for breakfast was raisin toast and sausage while watching swimming trials for the Olympics swim team.
At 9:30 I knocked on Alyssa's door to see if she could play.
We did some building. We made this car.
This is called Team Work. I showed her how to make a ball of of these magnetic things.
We mostly played outside because it wasn't really hot this early in the morning. In the afternoon it rained so Anthony, Cole, Alyssa, and I played at each of our homes.
My baseball practice was canceled do to rain and muddy fields.
I watched U.S. girls trying to make the U.S. gymnastics team. I was amazed at the things the girls could do. I got sleepy so I made Barbara promise to wake me up at 7pm so I could watch Michael Phelps swim. True to her word Barbara woke me up at 6:30pm so I could go with Mommy to get my divisional ribbons and make it home by 7pm to watch swimming.
I won district ribbons for ninth place in freestyle and eleventh place in backstroke. I earned a district medal for third place in my relay. The district meet is made up of six swim teams.
I earned a sticker yesterday for excepting, without whining, what Barbara allowed me to do while we were at Splash Town. I wore a life jacket when I didn't want to. I accepted that she would not buy me ice cream. ($6.00 for a little bowl of dip and dots!) And other things like that.
Mommy and I watched TV with Barbara for an hour this evening. We watched Olympic swimming time trials.
I was awake until 10pm. The nap I took kept me from being sleepy at 9:30pm.
