Mommy drove me to Mimz house on her way to work.  I was still sleepy so I ran to get Monk Monk and laid on the sofa next to Mimz until we had to leave for school.  Before school we stopped at the doughnut shop for breakfast.

Mimz picked me up from school and drove straight to Miss Sherrie's home just a half mile from school.  We met Barbara and GGF there for my first swim lesson this summer.  Miss Sherrie reviewed the rules and we started with the simple things like blowing bubbles, Ring Around the Fishes, dunk my head and I pop right up, Starfish floating, big arms, straight legs (which I still have a problem with) and diving.  I think I remembered just about everything with this little refresher lesson.  I have been given some homework:  Daddy needs to help me do three pushes-ups, from my toes if I can.  I asked Miss Sherrie where the stickers were, since I got one at the end of every lesson last year.  She didn't have any... I hope she gets some before my next lesson.

A funny thing: When I am climbing out of the pool, I go from my elbows, straight to my feet.  I won't put my knees on the concrete.  The natural thing to do would be to climb onto my knees, but that is not how I do it.  

GGF fell asleep for several minutes during my lesson.  I think I will learn a lot this year.  I am bigger and better able to listen and follow instructions.

Mimz bought me some flip flops just like the big boys wear.  Last summer I wore size 3T swim trunks.  Mimz bought me a new size 4-5T and with just a little pull on the draw-sting they fit me.

Oh boy!  In my backpack we found an invitation to my friend Sophia's birthday party on May 31 from 10 - 12 at a party park.  I am so excited.   My my entire class is invited, so I will know many of the children at the party.

Late in the afternoon, Mimz and I went to the park.  An interesting thing I did was start a conversation with a man who was there with his 1 to 2 year old daughter.  During our long conversation, I told him about Baby Girl who will be born after my birthday.   This is different from my normal shyness around people, though I have done this a couple times before in this same park.

Mimz played football with me.  By 7:30pm I was getting sleepy, so I took a bath early.  I should have been sleepy what with school, swimming, park and football.  I had asked Mimz if we could go to a movie.  We looked at what movies were available on TV.  I chose a Disney movie Pirate Fairy.  We finished watching the movie at 8:45 and I stayed awake for the entire show.  I really liked the movie, it had enough action to hold my attention and keep me awke.
