This day was a little different than most of my days spent at Barbara's.
After breakfast we sat an alarm that gave me ten minutes to play before I had to go brush my teeth. As soon as the alarm went off I sprinted to get that job done so I could continue playing, but I did do a good job, even though I was in a hurry. I don't want to have bad breath or get cavities.
We played our normal Keep Away, Catch, and Dream Snatchers along with playing Fireman in Car Town.
Sometimes I enjoy playing by myself.
A funny thing: I saw Barbara mouthing something. I asked her what she was doing. She said, "I'm just talking to myself, just like you do sometimes when you are playing." I said, "Yes, but I talk out loud. You can't hear what you are saying."
I was in a mood to do some of the things we did when I was littler. We read several of my old favorite books and we talked about how I remembered the old stories. I think Baby Girl will like these same stories. I can't wait to share them with her.
Papa came over to work on the yard and help GGF take down old fence around the two air conditioners. I watched some of it from inside GGF bathtub. I was up close without slowing down progress.
Before he left, PaPa was in the garage hearing a bunch of racket, so he came upstairs to see what we were doing. It was just me running and playing some kind of ball with GGM and Barbara.
After watching Emergency we played Fireman in Car Town reenacting the rescues we saw on the show.
We ate the last of the pizza from Mother's Day celebration. Barbara ate some of the tamales Mimz shared with her. I tasted but said I didn't want to eat them if they were really hot. As it turns out they were not that hot, but I already had it in my head that they would be too hot for me to enjoy.
We played more rescue using Monk Monk and Baby Doll. I still like to reenact things over and over and over.
Daddy picked me up around 6pm.
