My backpack was sitting by the front door ready for me to pick it up as we left for our drive to Mimz' home. Well, went out the garage door... so I managed without a backpack today. In the three years I have gone to school at School In the Pines, I have never needed the change of clothes that is in my backpack.... knock on wood.
My Lego's fire engine was in my backpack so I had to play with other toys after school. Around 3pm, it was time for a Rice Crispy treat and a rest period, so Mimz turned on a new TV show: Tom and Jerry cartoons, which was a favorite of my dad's when he was a boy. I liked it too.
I almost always run off to find Monk Monk when I am going to sit down to rest or watch TV. I guess he helps me relax. I quickly fell asleep, which is a good thing. I got in a nap long before soccer practice. If I hadn't, I would have fallen asleep in the car on the drive and I would not be ready to play hard when we got to practice.
There was a lot of traffic, but Mimz and I arrive right on time for soccer practice. GGM and Barbara were there waiting to watch my last soccer practice. Mommy was working late and Daddy was at home, not feeling well.
Mimz and I stopped at our park on our drive home to see if any of my friends were there. We ended up taking a long walk and run. Mimz wondered where I get all my energy because I had just finished running for an hour at soccer practice. I told Mimz my brain hurt, so we headed home to eat dinner and rest.
I smashed my thumbnail between the kitchen table and a chair. It really hurt and I really cried. We put some ice on it but it still hurt for a long time. After dinner I still complained that my brain hurt so Mimz gave me some Motrin. We think that is the first headache I have had. I had time for a quick bath before bedtime.
GGM and Barbara made new pj's for my baby doll using one of my little receiving blankets.
Now I have three babies at Barbara's house for us to play with. I am practicing taking care of babies, so I will know how to take care of Andy and Kristan's baby girl.
