I was super good all day.  Only a couple of times did I have an attitude that was unacceptable and that didn't last long.
My ant bites are still red, inflamed, and hot.  They were not bothering me.  That must just be the way I will react to ant bites.

We checked on our crops.  Our second tomato is about the size of  a marble.  And we have at least 12 4-inch long green beans.  I think we are going to plant the last few green bean seeds soon.

We made a quick trip to Wal-Mart since we were out of milk and they think a growing boy needs his milk.  Bakery, groceries, then toy-looking was the order of business.
GGM had done a bunch of cooking, so we had ribs, fried chicken, corn-on-the cob, and watermelon for lunch.  I liked it all and ate well.
I had one and a half ears of corn.
Just for fun we covered me up with one of my baby receiving blankets.  It is much too small to cover me!

Barbara and GGF went to the eye doctor to get Barbara's new glasses.  While they were gone GGM and I worked my huge Jake and the Neverland Pirate puzzle.  We waited until Barbara saw it before taking it apart.  We played all the regular things.
Barbara made us lay down, but I would not sleep.  We watched Leave it to Beaver and Emergency.  We put an ice pack on my ant bites.  It did seem to help the swelling.  We then re-enacted scenes from Emergency..
My school backpack was my oxygen tank that I used during rescues.  Late in the afternoon Barbara and I had a fun pillow fight, that was the first time we had done that.
Mommy picked me up around 6:30pm.

We had company, one of daddy's old friends.

Mommy, Daddy, and I drove to the lake to spend the weekend.  We had to take Maggie with us because she is quite feeble and Barbara doesn't want the responsibility of getting her outside and back into her kennel.
PaPa and I watched the fire in their fire pit.
