I was being a pill early this morning and as a result I did not get to ride my bike before going to school this morning. I sure don't like these big punishments. We hope this works and I learn to behave nicely all the time. Don't get me wrong, I am a well-behaved boy 95 percent of the time, maybe even a higher percentage than that.
After Barbara dropped me off at school, she went to visit Aunt Kristan and Anna Kate. Anna Kate was well behaved. She let Barbara hold her and she even fell asleep. Barbara bounced Anna Kate up and down on the sofa just like she did my grandma, (her sister).
Barbara rolls down the backseat car window, as we are driving away from school, so I can holler BYE to all my friends. The all holler back. What fun.
At home, I eat a piece of pizza, and a Fiber One cereal bar and an orange Popsicle. I wanted to play outside, but it was 88 degrees out and we wanted to find a way to keep cool. Water play was called for so Barbara came up with a game. We filled a bucket with water. We sat two drinking cups about 20 feet from the bucket. We each had a 1/3 cup measuring cup and we raced to see who could fill their cup first. We spilled some of the water, which was okay because it helped cool us off. I won but one more cup of water and Barbara would have had her cup full. I ran faster than Barbara so I spilled more water, but I made more trips.
Barbara was getting her little bag packed for a 48 hour trip to Oklahoma and back, so I played Car Town by myself. GGM baked a cake to take on the trip. I wanted to have a piece, but I couldn't only because is will be GGF birthday cake which they will share with relatives in Oklahoma.
GGF has been receiving several birthday cards from relatives. He will be 90 on Friday. He is in great shape for being that old.
Mr Brad and I went on a bike ride, then I helped him pick up leaves and load some lumber into his pickup. Barbara gave us a Popsicle to help us cool off.
I had a Popsicle while I watched Gunsmoke with GGF. Then I started watching a new show, The Andy Griffith Show, with Andy, Barney, Opie, and Aunt Bea.
I fell asleep. Barbara had to wake me up, so I could go home with Mommy. I told Barbara to have a fun trip and be safe. She said she would and she would sure miss seeing me. She said they would be back to see my t-ball game on Saturday.
At home, I told Mommy I wanted to watch the Andy and Barney show. She didn't know what show that was, so she called Barbara to find out. Mommy found it on TV and recorded it for me. Everyone likes that I like watching these old fashioned shows. They are more about family and have a lesson to them, than many of the new TV series do.
