Woke up happy and had a great start to the day. I quickly dressed myself, ate breakfast, brushed my teeth, made sure Mommy had all my baseball clothes and gear, my school bag and lunch, and my bike and helmet in Barbara's car. Then Barbara watched me ride my police car around the cul-de-sac until 8:30 when we leave for school.
I had at least a dozen ant bites on my hand from trying to swipe ants off my pants at ball practice.
I brought home a party invitation for Keira's birthday. Pump It Up is like Bouncin Bears. It has play areas and giant inflatables for kids to jump on. Oh what fun!
This day was so much better than yesterday because I had a great attitude.
Mr. Brad has a grapefruit tree in his backyard. I climbed it.
There are big bunches of green grapefruit on the tree. We have eaten grapefruit from this tree.
Mr. Brad is off work on Tuesdays, so I helped him get mulch out of truck
Mr. Brad says I am a good worker and teamwork makes work easier.
When we finished our work we went for a bike ride, to the waterfall in the next neighborhood.
GGF and Barbara
drove over to the waterfall so they could see me having fun there.
Mr. Brad and I are sitting at the top of the waterfall. We didn't climb up it. We walked around to the backside and went up the grassy side.
I had a t-ball game. I was there before 6pm and ready to start 30 minutes of practice. A coach worked with two other boys and me on our catching. We all are not good catcher yet. We are a little afraid of the ball.
I had two at bats. I was put out at first (the only time that has happened, I think) because I slowed down so the boy with the ball and I would not collide. I know, I know... I will learn. My other at bat I hit a good single. I played center field and third base. I only handled the ball one time and I ... well, I don't remember what I did. But I think it was okay. Mommy bought a set of bases, so we can practice at home. There are a couple of players on the team who are very good, a couple who are pretty good, and then there are the five-year-olds. Give us time... there is a lot to learn to be a good baseball player.
Team meeting.
Eating snack after meeting.
These games last until at least 8pm, that makes me late getting to bed.
