Tuesday Sept 30, 2014
My teachers know I like to be independent when it comes to getting out of the car, getting my backpack and anything else I need for school, shutting the car door, and walk into the school building.  The teacher stands right there to make sure I don't get hit by a car.

On the drive home from school, Barbara and I talked about recess, then I asked why she always sends the same lunch to school.  She said when she has sent other things, they come back uneaten, for example fruit, sandwiches, and different cookies.  I said I wanted a ham sandwich...without the bread... plus my my usual chicken nuggets and my usual two Oreo cookies.  She agreed to put ham on the grocery list.
We tried growing celery.  It worked except we were getting more leaves than we were celery stocks.

We played Car Town, and watched Chips while we snacked on cereal and two bran muffins.
I spotted the box of Marbleworks, which was a game my mother and her siblings played with when they were little.  I also knew Mr Brad was outside mowing, so I asked if we could play with Marbleworks in the garage, which we did.
Having a large piece of carpet on the garage floor makes it a nice place to play.  Having a sofa out there makes a nice place to sit and watch a little boy having fun.  When Mr Brad finished mowing he came over to see what we were playing.  He said I was a lucky boy to have fun toys and lots of adults to play with me.  He agreed to go for a bike ride after he blew the lawn clippings out of the street.   I took a Popcicle over for him to eat and we sat on his swing eating them.  Barbara and Grandma stayed in the garage visiting and keeping an eye on me.  They think if they went inside, Mr Brad would feel like he was responsible for babysitting me.  They want him to know I am just helping him work or visiting with him, while they babysit me.
Mr Brad went inside to rest for thirty minutes.  It seemed like a very long thirty minutes to me.  Finally he came out and we went for the promised bike ride.  We rode to the waterfall in the next neighborhood.  I have been to that park a few times before to run and play on the playground toys.

I had a baseball game to get dressed for.  I got into trouble when I refused to try to go potty before getting dressed.  I wanted to wait and go at the park.  I got more stubborn and louder and GGM decided not to go to my game and I ended up in Time Out.  In the end, I did go potty.  I did go apologize to GGM.  She accepted my apology, but still would not go to the game.   I hope I learn it is better to just do the right thing the first time around.  I asked Barbara to not tell my mom.  She said she tells Mom everything, good and bad.   She did tell my mom and my dad.  Then I got a talking to from them.
That's me in my number three shirt with my name on the back.
The baseball team we played had some super players.  They could field the ball, throw it, and the first base man could catch the ball and tag the base so we had a lot of outs.  I only got to bat one time and I was out at first base.
That is me playing first base.   I played outfield, catcher, and first base.  I never did get to handle the ball.  I'm learning new things about this game every day.  It was a short game because when they got ahead by ten runs the game was over.  We scored seven runs, so I guess they scored seventeen.
They don't really have wins and loses at this level of play.
At the after-game team meeting.  I am on the left at the back.

Mimz, Mommy, Daddy and I went out to eat dinner after the game.
