... when school was over, Mimz took me to Bouncin Bears...
...for a play date with Sophia.
I had a so-so time playing at Bouncing Bears. Both Sophia and I had our moments of not playing well.
Barbara came before we finished and she took me home with her.
I do like to cook so ...
I wanted to watch an episode of Chips. Barbara put on a new one, but I told her I had already seen it over at Mimz house, but I wanted to watch it again. She asked if she can delete it but I said no, because I might want to watch it again. I do know she does delete shows when I am not around, because they disappear.
I rode my bike most of the rest of the afternoon. My bike is my favorite toy right now.
I met a neighbor boy and his dog. The dog's name is Trixie. The boy is 9 year old. He said he would come back on his bike sometime to play with me.
I had t-ball practice at 6pm. It was a so-so practice. Too much going on. Too many boys that have short attention spans. Too many coaches. Too many mother, hollering at too many little sisters running around. And there were about 30 men playing soccer right behind our field. That is a big distraction for me. Also for the last 15 minutes of practice, there were four police cars with their lights flashing parked right on the side of the road. We don't know what that was all about.
I had a tiny bit of something sticky in my hair. Barbara put a tiny bit of Goo Be Gone on her finger and rubbed her fingers around the sticky thing. Using a comb she got it to come out. Then I took a bath to wash my hair and get today's dirt off of my body. Hey, five-year-olds get pretty dirty.
We watched a few minutes of the Jets football game and ate a few Pringles, while we waited for the timer to go off, which meant it was 8:30 and I had to go to bed. Barbara turned a nightlight on in the hall way and she turned on country music and it took me about ten minutes to get to sleep.
Barbara, GGM, GGF all got their flu shots. They also got a pertussis/tetanus shots because Anna Kate's doctor said all caretakers need the pertussis shot. I can't want for us to start babysitting her. I ask every day how much longer before she comes. She will be here Monday Oct. 20th.
PaPa is back home. A serious thing: PaPa works in Nigeria and right now Ebola is a very serious disease in that country. There take very serious precautions to prevent it from getting into their compound and to prevent it from spreading to the United States.
