He weighted 6 pounds 4.4 ounces and was 19 inches long. I weighed 5 pounds 10 ounces. He looks just like Anna Kate did when she was a newborn baby. I got to see him when he was a couple of hours old, but I didn't get to hold him.
My family have a tradition of getting a National Geographic magazine the month a baby is born. Mommy bought the one for December 2016 and took it to show Andy and Kristan. Barbara has the entire collection. The oldest one is for October 1924, the month GGF was born. I wonder why Barbara is the one who has most of the souvenirs for the family? She thinks it is because she will maintain them and won't lose them.
It was 52 degrees outside this morning and raining. I insisted on wearing shorts to school. Crazy boy! I ate half a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. I don't know why I couldn't eat more.
I wanted to take the little Christmas tree I helped make to school to give to Mrs. Cat but it was raining so I put if off another day. I sure hope she likes it.
Mrs. Cat gave me a candy cane for doing good work today. I'd be good every day for a candy cane!
Anna Kate was not outside when the bus arrived and I was wondering where she was. She was inside because it was too cold for her to be outside. I went into the house to give her the hug she loves to get from me, then I ran to play. Barbara hollered for me to put on long pants but I just kept on running.
I said I did my homework on the bus. Later Barbara looked for my homework and she found an empty backpack. Hum? wonder where it is? That is an issue we will have to address tomorrow. ..... She found my homework in a different compartment in my backpack.
